Basic English 4受講。今日は２回も目から鱗が落ちました！①所有格のitsについて。所有格のmyやyour などは馴染みがあったのですが、its に関していえば使えない言葉でした。its は人間以外の動物や物のときの所有格。また、文頭では決して使わない。ということでした。長年の疑問が即理解できました😆感謝！！②国の前にtheがつくのは複数を表しているため。フィリピンも諸島であるし、アメリカは連邦であるから。フィリピンという国を表すときにtheが必要なのは知りませんでした💦アメリカにtheがついているのも疑問に思ってました。サラッと解決してくださりありがとうございます！Madhura先生😆
